Great park. We saw the famous or infamous water snakes  although i was scared its was an unforgettable experience. Beautiful lake with serene surroundings. And we rented row boats for $35 for 70 minutes. This part of the campground is kind of a peninsula in the lake. We camped in the lower campground. My husband and I came to Promised Land Lake to canoe. We found Promised Land State Park to be clean, well cared for, and staff there to be very knowledgeable.

All in all I think we have found a new go to place to camp. There are plenty of hiking and wildlife observation opportunities. Promised Land Lake and Lower Lake offer great opportunities for year-round fishing. The site uses cookies to store information on your computer.

Skytop ropes course/ziplines really close. Quiet time is at 9 which they strictly enforced (even on July 4th weekend..
