We listened to what our regulars wanted becoming a firm part of the community: providing caffeine for artists, curing warehouse party hangovers with our generous brunches, sharing a drink in the evening with our neighbours.

The weekend brunch menu reflects this and you can choose from classic options such as avo on toast and muesli, or you can be a bit more adventurous with the Shacklewell Shakshuka or smoked kipper, spinach puree and poached eggs. Just across the water from Hackney Wick is Mother, a plant-based cafe where everything is made from scratch. When we opened in 2016 our friendly attitude carried us through. Splendid ceramics are also on sale there; handmade jugs, bowls, cups and saucers, which can be seen on display.
